Lodging?

Uhmm...am I the only one who hasn't booked a room yet?

I was hoping to score something close through VRBO, but now I'm worried that they won't break up the week because it's Thanksgiving.

Where are all the cool kids bunking up at?

I should really get around to making a reservation soon...

I know a lot of people last year stayed at the Hampton Inn on Scottsdale Rd in Tempe - it's pretty close to transition, bikes are allowed in the rooms, and I hear reasonably priced.

If you want to bounce ideas off of me for proximity/neighborhood as you search, just email! :)

I haven't...sometimes they won't take them until five months out or so.
But yeah, I need to do this also!

definitely book a place - houses are filling up, too!

Glad I ran across this blog - heading to IMAZ09 for my first IM attempt. Looking foreward to following your training.

We're booked in at the Candlewood suites - have what is really a one bedroom apt with full kitchen to keep on the track nutrition wise before the race. All bets are off after. :)

How would one find a house to rent? My whole famn damily is coming from all over the place to watch me do this thing (not sure how happy I am about that... haha).

I'm booked at the Hospitality Suites, 409 N Scottsdale based on a good review from a previous competitor. It's within 2 miles of transition, and close to the course for spectators.
